Pie uses wire to fix sandal

Why not just buy another pair? Pie says it's not being sold here and it's a very comfortable pair of sandals that he rather fix it than replace it.

A former maid saw that it was a good idea and took Che's broken sandal which she threw away. Pie inspires! In the many items and parts of the house, you can see everywhere that Mom and Dad would always rather fix than throw away objects, an instinct their son has inherited.

Ryan wakes at 2:30pm

Ryan, after reading the the novel "The girl with the dragon tatoo." until about 5 in the morning, slept till 2:30pm. He did wake up several times because of the heat and then adjust him self nearer to the the fan. He thinks, better to get as much sleep as possible, there's no great need to come to work early, but he did not expect to wake at 2:30pm. Still he was glad he got a lot of sleep.

The novel he is reading is a real page turner and he has bought the other 2 books in the sequel: The girl who played with fire and the girl who kicked the hornet's nest. Yesterday Sunday, he bought a box set of the Game of Thrones after watching the 1st 2 episodes even though he found the 2nd episode depressing or unsatisfying.

We ate at Cerchio

Tonight we ate at Cerchio in a small street off of Tomas Morato. The dish in the picture is a grilled sea food and meat dish good for 3 to 4 people. It wasn't bad. As usual: Pie did not join us, Dad does his micro back seat driving, Mom watches every bite I eat and eats very little herself in fear I run out of food. But not so usual is May not with earphones listening to her podcasts.

We were supposed to celebrate Mom's birthday here in this restaurant but she was elsewhere on her birthday. He haven't celebrated her birthday yet.

Pie's Job Site

Pie's new site is progressing well. The kitchen has a big real rock not made from cement (first picture). The master's bedroom has a sky light that he says creates the perfect work environment at home. The center of the house has a tree and a koi pond with a waist level cement block where water runs over the top and pours down to the pond. (see 3rd picture) Pie says you can position pebbles on the running water on top, it's like a zen thing.

He says that this was the project he has the most control over and he really likes the house so far. There is not a "sad" area in the whole house he says. For me, it's amazing that the house looks exactly like the 3D rendering before it was made (4th picture).

Mom is back early

Mom gets back early from Boracay. She said Boracay was packed and really lively with people. I heard they went in the water with these heavy helmets so that they can walk on the sea floor.
